As a counselor, I help people learn how to take charge of their life. This can be done by understand that all problems are relationship problem weather with yourself or others. We can not control the external world. However we can take charge of our thoughts, actions and reactions which then lets us have indirect control over our emotional and physical responses. Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery but today is a gift that’s why it’s called the present. Understanding we can not change the past but learn to accept it lets one have mental health and happiness.
